Q. What Is paint protection?

A. Enduroshield Paint Protection is a single stage product, moisture setting resin-based product (MSR) which includes synthetic wax resins, UV filters and gloss enhancers with a high percentage of PTFE.  It is highly resistant to bird droppings and pollutants.

Q. Is there a better product?

A. Yes, ENDUROSHIELD GOLD is a Total Paint Protection program, designed to protect the new vehicle’s paintwork against oxidation, corrosion, petrol, oil and detergents. ENDUROSHIELD GOLD is a long life glaze formulated for new cars or paintwork in good condition. ENDUROSHIELD GOLD contains no abrasives so adds to the vehicles protective systems rather than diminishing them by abrasion (as occurs with conventional polishes). ENDUROSHIELD GOLD contains selected resins and natural waxes, which deposit on the surface protecting the paintwork from the effects of Pollution, Weathering and rain.

Q. What is fabric protection?

A. When Fabshield fabric protection is applied your upholstery will retain its luxurious showroom look and feel no matter what sort of punishment you throw at or spill on it.  The product adheres to each individual fibre eliminating absorption of oil and water based stains including coffee.  Simply clean up spills with a damp cloth.  

Q. What is plastic, vinyl and leather protection?

A. Plastic, Vinyl and Leather Protection coats and protects your vehicle’s interior vinyl, plastic and leather surfaces.  It is a specialized emulsion containing silicon and plasticizers which rejuvenate and give treated surfaces added protection from shrinkage, cracking, splitting and discolouration caused by harmful effects of ultra violet light.

Q. Will PVL suit my car?

A. Yes, NILRUST Plastic, Vinyl and Leather Protection is available with a Gloss or Satin finish.

Protection Product Information, Care & Maintenance.

Nilrust Enduroshield Paint Protection: maintain that the new vehicle, where properly treated with Nilrust Paint Protection will be protected from oxidisation and other weather induced markings for the life of the vehicle (conditions apply). Used vehicles showing no signs of paint deterioration and having original factory paint (or newly repainted) may be issued with a 5 year warranty.??EXCLUSIONS:?This warranty does not cover damage caused by stone chips, car washes or chemical contact, or where on inspection, the vehicle has not been subject to reasonable car and attention, or where manufacturer’s warranty would otherwise cover paint defects. NB Some bat and bird droppings will severely damage paint and must be washed off within 24 hours.

How to Maintain Your Treatment:

1.    Wash the vehicle often with clean cold water. Never wash the vehicle under the sun.

2.    If detergent is used, make sure it is a quality brand of non-wax automotive wash that is applied.

3.    Nilrust “Bug’N’Tar”, Kerosene or Mineral Turpentine can be used to remove tar spots without damaging the treatment.

4.    Every six months, apply the Polymer Wash supplied free with the treatment. This must be applied strictly as per instructions. Failure to use as directed may void warranty.

5.    In the event of a paint problem, no rectification work is to be undertaken until authority is given by Nilrust.

Nilrust Fabshield Fabric Protection: when properly treated with Nilrust Fabric Protection, will aid in the prevention of soiling and staining on all fabrics for the life of the fabric warranty (conditions apply). It will effectively combat common oil, grease and water based stains, and will not change the colour, texture or appearance of the fabric.??EXCLUSIONS:?This warranty does not cover damage to fabrics caused by strong acids, bleaches, synthetic dyes, pigments or alkalis or where fabric has not been subjected to reasonable car and attention.

How to Maintain Your Treatment:

1.    Spills and stains should be attended to as soon as possible with a damp cloth.

2.    Persistent water based stains should be treated with quality auto upholstery cleaner.

3.    Oil and grease stains that do not respond to 2, should be treated with Spot Off, available from Nilrust agents.

4.    Heavily coloured, concentrated fruit juice can permanently dye some fabrics. These spills must be treated immediately.

5.    When fabric appears grubby, thoroughly wet with clean water, sponge and soak up excess dirty water. Vacuum when dry.

Nilrust PVL Plastic, Vinyl and Leather protection: maintain that the new vehicle, when properly treated with plastic, vinyl and leather protection against cracking and staining of the interior plastic, leather ad vinyl upholstery for the life of the vehicle (conditions apply). Used vehicles, where no cracking or staining is present at time of application, may be issued with a warranty for 5 years. The product is absorbed into the trim, nourishing and replenishing plasticisers in plastic, vinyl and natural oils in leather.??EXCLUSIONS:?This warranty does not cover damage caused by strong acids, alkalis, dyes or cleaning products other than those recommended for plastic, vinyl and leather, or where on inspection, the interior of the vehicle has not been subject to reasonable care and attention, or where manufacturer’s warranty would otherwise cover material defects. NB. Imperfections caused by the natural aging of leather are not covered by this warranty.

How to Maintain Your Treatment:

1.    Spills and stains should be attended to as soon as possible with a damp cloth.

2.    Any cleaning product used must be approved for plastic, vinyl and/or leather materials. Contact any Nilrust agent if in doubt.

3.    In the event of any problem with the plastic, vinyl or leather upholstery, (after the treatment has been applied), no rectification work is to be carried out until authority is given by Nilrust.
